THE LEGEND BEHIND THE JAM
Every small town has its legends. Ours involves seven guys, a boat and nine tons of Jamaican cargo that made national headlines in 1973.
The “Steinhatchee 7” put our little fishing village on the map in one of the most unlikely ways imaginable. More than 50 years later, the story remains part of Steinhatchee folklore.
The Steinhatchee 7 Band Jam takes its name and its free-spirited, salt-air, seventies-soaked personality from that unforgettable piece of local history.
GREAT MUSIC FOR A GREAT CAUSE
Ticket proceeds from the Steinhatchee 7 Band Jam benefit Sower of the Seed Food Pantry, Inc.
Your ticket helps support an organization working to provide food and assistance to neighbors throughout our local community.
Support local. Hear great music. Help feed our neighbors.
